Résumé

Social Media Outreach Coordinator

Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife

I run the agency’s social media, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Snapchat, where I engage with fans and followers around the agency’s mission to protect and enhance Oregon’s fish and wildlife and their habitats for use and enjoyment by present and future generations. I create, curate and post content that highlights hunting, fishing and wildlife-viewing opportunities around Oregon. I monitor social channels for relevant online conversations relating to ODFW’s mission as well as key issues that impact Oregon’s fish, wildlife and accessible spaces. I monitor metrics to determine digital growth and reach as well as where the agency can best connect with stakeholders and residents of the state of Oregon. I work closely with public affairs to coordinate information about fish and wildlife and to distribute it across multiple platforms to reach a wider audience. I develop digital strategy and work closely with marketing and education teams to use all relevant communication techniques to communicate more effectively with Oregon residents and stakeholders.
