Logan’s New Life Revisited
Logan Erickson has autism. He lives in the Bering Sea village of Unalakleet. When the young boy showed some interest in an Iditarod musher’s pet Pekingese, a plan was set in place to provide a special service animal for Logan. A year and a half later, an autistic boy is slowly emerging from his confusing shell through the patient efforts of a faithful yellow lab and the love and care of his village.
I’m always impressed with the Bering Sea sunset. Nome and Unalakleet are amazing places to watch it dip into the sea.
